Random universe

I'd love it if it had a procedurally generated universe, because I'm guessing it must get repetitive after a while, in the same way that Elite did (for anyone who's old enough).

I'd also like to see a high score table within the game. I know that there is the game centre thing, but my iPod is usually offline, so I don't use it when there's no wifi.

The galaxies are random and when you complete or fail the game it gives you a score. At least on android it does.

Just realised you meant a high score table compiling all the games you have played. That would be good actually.

I thought I read somewhere that the universe was fixed, and that events etc were random. I've asked in another thread what is random, along with some other questions, so hopefully someone will reply to that.

The placement of stars are random too. I verified this by comparing screen shots of different games. The start has the 2 systems with 1 rocky 1 gas next to it. But after that it is different. It still has some guidelines that don't make it completely random though. Planets at the start are closer together to accommodate ships without engine upgrades.

Oh ok, that's great then. I was worried that it might be the same universe every time, and that it would be down memorising where everything was in order to succeed.
