Unlockables and Rare events
Like most who post here I love this game. There are two things I think could enhance the experience and not detract from it.
Unlockables
Each mission you complete could have its own unlockable. For example you beat the green mission it unlocks a new ship type, or it unlocks a new mission.
Rare events
These would be challenging opportunities that would be fun to experience. For example an event happens that may result in throwing you back in time to before your original mission started, or you find out that you where not the only human trapped in stasis for millennia and the other person went on to become the God/King of People/Death
