I'm fresh new to this game. Should I read the forum or will it ruin experience?

I'm new to this game. I only have maybe 1 hour of gameplay behind me. I admit I didn't read this forum at all - not even one thread. On purpose.

The game is hard and I thought I will look for some guidance, but then I had these thoughts: "probably spoilers everywhere", "probably their tips will be too good and I won't appreciate discovering new things on my own" etc.

What would you advise? Is it possible to make a good progress and figure out the game on my own after a while? Would reading strategy guides early in game ruin the experience?

I will answer myself Game isn't as hard as I initially thought - after few hours I already knew how to handle myself. Initially I would die super quick, after few minutes max and I suspected that red destination may not even be achievable at all - that it's elusive and that the game itself is infinite (which it kind of is, but in a completely different way of course!).

I wouldn't ask this question if not for the disclaimer on Android Market saying that game is really hard and that one should consult faq in here.

Maybe instead it should say that one shouldn't give up easily and take careful notes, additionally pointing to the FAQ.
