Gravitational lens bug?
Sorry if I am mistaken but the gravitational lens is supposed to let you see how many planets there are around distant stars, right?
Anyway, a few days ago I was lucky enough to find a ship with a gravitational lens and telescope installed and I could see dots for each type of planet in the description of the system I am observing.
However, now I was able to build a gravitational lens myself (connected to the telescope, of course) and I don't get any information about the planets.
I don't know if it is a bug introduced in the latest version so the lens doesn't work at all, or maybe that it doesn't work when you build it yourself.
Of course, I might be completely wrong and some other device lets you see planets around other stars....

Re: Gravitational lens bug?
Grav lens improves telescope range.
The interferometer gives you what type of planet are in each system.

D'oh. A line in the description of the Grav lens (something about detecting dark objects) confused me.
Thanks for clearing that up.
