encounter life button bug

I had a grame in progress when the game was updated to version 1.02. When I went back into the game and clicked on the encounter life button, the three buttons on the planet all disappeared. Same things happens if I go to another planet, or if I restart the game.

I have the exact same problem. I can encounter life in any garden planet

I later worked out that you have to start a new game ... that fixed the problem.

Same problem here. I played for 2 or 3 hours, I encountered life many times, but now when I push the button "encounter life" the 3 buttons disappear and I can't do anything but restart the game.
I don't want to quit my game. :/

There are a few bugs like this after a point. In addition to encounters failing, so do events and learning techs from rocky planets. It's not 100% of the time but it happens a lot, even though I have restarted
