I finally did it!

After about another 15 play-throughs, finally beat my old score.  Love me or hate me.

Pretty good, but not quite the best. There is a great secret to conquering this game, and I'll wait to see if anyone else can explore those depths and find the key.

Well, that's pretty baffling. I used 39 Omegas between destroyed stars, terraformed planets, and wormhole jumps.

I count 182 for you. I see only two options:

1. You found a way to not encounter the aliens so all oxygen planets are reachable (which seems unlikely since you only visited 139 systems) or
2. You found a delightful glitch for obtaining Omega

I think, I found "THE KEY" that you mentioned before...

well I'm sure eventually someone else will figure it out and share. I happen to enjoy the game with this hidden feature. If I share it, and the developer doesn't like it (>implying he doesn't already know it exists), then he might nix the feature in an update, or even the new Omega version coming out.

If it's a "hidden feature", then by definition, the developer integrated it.

However, if you're afraid that the "developer doesn't like" his own hidden feature, then that, my friend, sounds like an exploit.

after many attempts, this is indeed a 'glitch'. I have figured out when this works, and it not only gives you unlimited omegas, but unlimited anything you want. Certain conditions need to be met for it to work. The only tip I'll give you to achieve this: . Have fun finding it

It will likely not making it to Omega as we are re-building the whole game on a new engine.

Dude, what's your deal? Why are you antagonizing the developers?

It's pretty pathetic that you're so adamant on employing a game-breaking exploit that completely ruins the enjoyment of those who wish to attain a (legitimately) high score.

If you cared at all about the game, you'd tell the developer what the exploit is.

2. I don't understand your anger. This bug tells the player that, like in any universe, anything is possible. Nobody told me how to do it, I tried with trial and error. I found that in the Out There world, it is possible to essentially have everything and conquer all. I believe that makes an already good game even better, and I choose to leave it open for the other players to find. It gives the other players a chance; a quest to find what was suppose to be forbidden possible.
3. Calm down, and go on a journey to see if you can discover it yourself.

2. It's also possible, like in any universe, to perpetrate tax evasion. No one explicitly told me how to perform clever accounting, as I did it with trial and error. On Earth, it is possible to essentially keep all my money and not pay taxes. I believe this makes my fat bank account even fatter, and I choose to allow other taxpayers to go on a magnificent quest to find what was suppose...to be...forbidden...possible?

I think the other players will enjoy playing this game even more knowing it is possible to obtain the forbidden. If I'm wrong, please, someone else besides UberMad guy post and convince me otherwise. Even though the next version will be written 'on a new engine', the general code is copy/pasted. The chances of this still happening in the new version is 9/10, especially since the developer has no idea how, if, and when it's happening. If I really cared about a leaderboard, I would post a score in the millions. I play it for fun, and in my spare time. Let the players have fun and try to find it Mr. UberMensch.
