The diFFiculty is great - please don't change it
Love the hash, unForgivingness oF this game. This Forces you to learn quickly. Forget to dump your 20-stack oF O2 beFore probing, and are Forced to lose some cargo to make something Fit? Tough. Maybe you'll think First next game.
In my First hour oF play I usually only survived 4-5 jumps beFore dying. It took a _very_ lucky Find beFore I was able to beat the demo.
This is great. Makes getting somewhere a big accomplishment. You Feel smart when you make it.
This also mirrors what I imagine to be the actual diFFiculty oF an astronaut stranded in space. Everything will kill you. Slim chance oF survival. Worried and desperately hoping For a break at every step.
Love it. Great atmosphere. Please keep this.

I agree completely. I finally made it to the first ending (for which I thought was just a stop on a longer journey) and it was great. Since the game is hard, it was also rewarding.
A great gem of a game, I'm glad I bought it, though my phone needs much more frequent recharging now, he he he!

I third the motion to maintain the difficulty level. I especially like how one mission is harder then the others and the game doesn't tell me that. i have enjoyed taking on the challenge of each mission and at least for the hardest mission the red one the moment i realized i'm going to have to up my game if i want to pull it off. I'm great full for a game that makes winning worth it.

Hello,
I think the difficulty is far too much. Especially, it seems really too random: you start a the game, you explore a new area (a group of planets), you approach a new planet: you've already exhausted half of your fuel. If you're not lucky enough, the planet will be almost empty (4-5 hydrogen from the start), and then you'll probably die very soon. If you're "lucky", you'll get 10-15 hydrogen from the start, then you'll have to retrieve fuel many times (click click click it's boring), so you'll get a chance to survive a bit longer.
I appreciate the graphic updates, but the gameplay is still tedious and unforgiving. A few times, I could get better destiny, but the death rate is so high you soon have to rewind to the tedious game start. I tried several hours and couldn't find a better strategy. Maybe I'm not a very good player, or the game is too difficult / unforgiving.
I think there should be some different gameplay levels, and for example in an easy mode it could be possible to use more sources for fuel and hull (like the bunch of rocks you don't have use for at the beginning)

The backup will be encrypted in the next patch, so ...
ark, it's a pity, it was the first time I really had so much fun and entertainment with Out There, because it helped lowering the incredible difficulty and randomness...
I think my point about the different level of difficulties and more available ressources is still relevant.
Anyway, encrypting the backup will certainly not prevent me to artificially increase the few ressources I got, I can even do it during the gameplay now... (I'll post a new screenshot after the next patch :p )

@farvadin,
Don't worry, we plan to support modding after release, so you'll be free to do whatever you like
